17 Year Old Texas Boy Brutally Kills Father And Shoots Mother

In a tragic incident in Conroe, Texas, a teenager has been arrested following the fatal shooting of his father and the wounding of his mother at their family home.

RESPONDING TO A DISTRESS CALL

 The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office reported responding to a distress call late Wednesday evening from a residence on Waller Street. 

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a couple with gunshot wounds. The investigation revealed a heated verbal altercation between the 17-year-old, Travontay Constantine, and his parents escalated into a shooting. Constantine, after initially fleeing the scene, turned himself in to the authorities early Thursday, facing charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The precise cause of the argument remains undisclosed, as does the origin of the firearm used in the shooting, which investigators believe did not belong to the parents. At the time of the incident, other siblings were present in the home, one of whom alerted the authorities. 

 Despite immediate life-saving efforts, the husband succumbed to his injuries while his wife was rushed to a hospital for emergency surgery. She is expected to make a recovery.
