
10-Year-Old Texas Girl Charged for Taking Cocaine to Seguin School
A elementary student at Jefferson Elementary School in Seguin has been charges for taking cocaine to school. A 10-year-old girl was arrested in connection with bringing a "white substance" found on campus. My San Antonio reports on Wednesday morning, January 29, a Seguin ISD fifth-grade student was arrested after school administrators found cocaine in a Jefferson Elementary School classroom.
CHARGED WITH POSSESION
The Seguin ISD student was taken to the Guadalupe County Juvenile Probation Department and charged with possession of a substance in penalty group 1 in a drug-free zone, the release noted. A field test was confirmed that the substance was cocaine hydrochloride, An investigation done with the help of school administrators determined a 10-year-old fifth-grade girl was the one who brought the drugs to campus. This is a developing story.
A statement was issued by the Principal of Jefferson Elementary School!
"A thorough investigation was conducted, and the individual responsible for bringing the substance to school was identified. Appropriate disciplinary actions have been taken per school policy and the law," the principal said in the letter. "This serves as a reminder of the importance of discussing the dangers of drugs with our children and encouraging them to report any concerning situations to an adult."
