Rodeo Houston has just dropped another teaser about the 2026 entertainment lineup - the genre calendar. The next question is, what artists will correspond with these genres?  We will find out the official musical lineup on January 8, 2026, at 7 p.m.

Here is what we know so far, Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi, and Randy Houser will close out the 2026 rodeo with a full performance. 

Genre breakdown.

There will be 15 country concerts, including Cody Johnson. There will also be one R&B, one pop, one rock, one Christian, and two Spanish (Latin and Go Tejano Day). Now it's time for us to guess who will be performing. What are your thoughts? Let us know and send us a message on the app.

Electrical fire during Journey's performance. 

During Journey's performance this year of their biggest hit "Don't Stop Believing," they lost power on the stage and the sound cut off. However, the crowd took over in a moment that will give you chills. This turned into an electrical fire and cut the concert short.

Grupo Frontera electrifies crowd with 'No Se Va.'

Go Tejano Day, this year featured Grupo Frontera singing in front of almost 71,000 people. Just two years prior, they performed for a crowd around 700 in Victoria. I was there, what a moment.
