As we kick off 2026, the City of Victoria Parks and Recreation Department is firing on all cylinders. So many events are going on, including special events for local senior citizens.

Victoria Parks and Recreation sets fun events for local senior citizens.

January 13 will kick off a year of Senior Bingo that will take place at the Victoria Community Center Annex. The event will take place from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.  Not only will it be bingo with prizes, giveaways, food, and fun. This will be the first of 11 Senior Bingo events for 2023.

Get ready for a movie trivia showdown.

This event will take place at the Adult Sports Complex on Friday, January 16. The questions will be about classic one-liners to blockbusters; it’s time to put your film knowledge to the test! The trivia will kick off at 7 p.m. You can reserve your spot by clicking here. 

Winter Fest for senior citizens.

Another free event for local senior citizens will take place on Tuesday, January 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Victoria Community Center.  Come out for bingo, lunch, giveaways, and live music with Stephanie Ross. Community Game Night planned for all Victoria residents.

Mark your calendars for Friday, January 30, at the Victoria Community Center from 5-9 p.m. It's the return of game night, which will feature card games, board games, puzzles, and more. Like all of the above, this event is FREE and open to the public.
