What Happened During The Zipper Ride Incident At California Fair?

Over the weekend, the very popular carnival ride, the "Zipper," began to fall apart during the middle of a ride cycle. This happened at a fair event for Our Lady of Loretto High School in California. After being stuck on the ride for about an hour, all were rescued, and no injuries were reported.

One of the most popular carnival rides of all-time.

The Zipper is usually the first ride I think of when I think of a carnival. It has been around since the 1960s. In fact, it is one of the most iconic carnival rides of all time. It stands only 56 feet tall, and no ride will ever be the same. What is most fascinating about this ride is its very simple setup.

A ride from many of our childhood memories.

While we are at it, I thought it would be fun to share my favorite carnival ride of all time. It is called the "Love Bug" and is very rarely found today. Some also know the ride as the "Himalaya." If I ever see this ride again, I will ride it. I can't tell you how my older body will react; however, it will be fun.
