(KNUE-FM) For most people in Texas right now, money is tight, with lots of people struggling to make it from paycheck to paycheck.

Although we also know there are some people and families that have done very well for themselves not only recently but for a long time now which has helped create generational wealth.

We are talking about amounts of money that most of us would never be able to spend, it’s more money that we could ever dream about.

Let’s Discuss the Wealthiest Families in Texas

There was a list created of the 25 richest families in America, I wanted to see the list specifically to see how many Texas families had made the list.

There were more than a couple Texas families that made the list, including one family that just missed making it into the top 10 of the richest families in the country.

Making the List Doesn’t Come Easy

While it’s easy to dream about having generational wealth in your family, there were a lot of long hours and hard work that began the process of making all the money.

Creating huge wealth like this isn’t by accident.

But I will say, I wasn’t exactly shocked to see so much money created in Texas from pipelines and oil.
