Texas Man Uses Baby as Snow Scraper- CPS Gets Involved

A shocking TikTok video out of Port Arthur has sparked outrage after a man was seen using a baby to wipe snow off his car’s windshield.

The Investigation Is Underway

Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso confirmed that his department is actively investigating the incident. Officers tracked down the man at his apartment  and confirmed that the baby in question was real and under a year old.

Authorities say the child appears unharmed, but they are following standard procedures, which include contacting Child Protective Services (CPS).

The department is working on a case to present to District Attorney Keith Giblin, seeking a child endangerment charge against the man.

Is This Different, or Just the One That Got Caught?

For every viral video that gets called out, there are thousands more just like it flying under the radar.

There are plenty of similar videos on social media showing parents doing the exact same thing. One video shows a man doing the exact same thing, using a very young baby to wipe snow from a vehicle. The comments are full of positivity and laughter and has very minimal negative comments. 

Another shocking video shows a pregnant woman and her young daughter wearing very little clothing in the snow while getting into a tub of ice cold water.

Then there's videos of parents purposely leaving babies outside while its snowing. The video explains that parents use this method to help build their child's immunity.

So, is this about child safety? Or is this just the one that got caught?
