Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to mean a mediocre dinner, forced romance, or pretending you like chocolate-covered strawberries (even though we do.) If you’re someone who prefers experiences over preplanned menus, Victoria actually has some solid options this year.

Ways to Celebrate Valentine's Day in Victoria

If you want something interactive that doesn’t involve sitting across a table wondering when dessert arrives, try Pro-Escape Rooms. Working together to solve puzzles under pressure is a great test for chemistry. However, if teamwork and strategy aren’t your strongest suits, then the rage room and splatter unit let you burn off Valentine’s stress instead.
For lighter competition, Birdies Mini Golf is a fresh new spot in town, perfect for a low-key date night. It’s playful, mildly competitive, and gives you something to talk about besides your job and the state of the world.
A personal favorite for dates and family outings, Outlaw Pass delivers. Go karts, mini golf, drinks, and of course, the arcade. Personally, drop me off at the coin pusher machine, and I'm golden.
If being your true, authentic self means being loud and feral, then the Axe Society is right up your alley. Bond over blades, it’s way more memorable than roses.
If you're going into Feburary with a  broken heart, then you need to take yourself out to The Texas Zoo. Eat Your Ex is back, and you can name a roach or a very smelly fish after your ex. Then you can hand-feed it yourself to a zoo animal.  It’s petty in the most therapeutic way possible, and it supports the zoo, so you’re basically doing community service.
