There are a number of new locations in the Star Wars galaxy The Last Jedi is going to take us to, like Luke’s hideout Ahch-To, wherever the First Order’s been holing up in since Starkiller Base was destroyed, and the hitherto mysterious casino city Canto Bight which, lucky for us, makes its first appearance in the movie’s new international trailer.

The trailer is pretty much a repeat of the one we’ve already seen, with a few shots and lines from The Force Awakens thrown in at the beginning for some context. Canto Bight shows up a little after the 2 minute mark — only to get trashed by a herd of big-eared wolf creatures.

Canto Bight, as we know, is the newest hive of scum and villainy to feature in the new Star Wars trilogy, and is the home base of Benicio del Toro’s hacker character DJ. According to the official Star Wars website:

Located on the desert world of Cantonica, Canto Bight is a casino city and playground for the galaxy's ultra-rich. It's a place of both opportunity and high stakes, filled with casinos, racetracks, and other expensive distractions.

And those weird dog things? According to an interview from Empire with creature designer Neal Scanlan (who’s also responsible for the porgs) they’re called Fathiers, a magical breed of canine racing animal that are mistreated by the people who keep them for entertainment in the city. So, it sounds like someone takes pity on them and lets them out. Or uses them as a diversion. Either way, everyone wins, unless you’re unfortunate enough to be sitting at one of those card tables when the stampede starts.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens on December 15.
