Looks like Nine Inch Nails will be at "home with the armadillo" this weekend as the band will make a rare concert TV performance on the long-running PBS series, 'Austin City Limits.' In advance of the airing, the band has unveiled a teaser via Rolling Stone in the form of their performance of 'Sanctified' for the show.

Two of the most influential bands of the '90s will tour together this summer.

This weekend marks the 20th anniversary of the release of the seminal Nine Inch Nails album 'The Downward Spiral.' The 1994 release boasted a unique blend of industrial rock and electronica, redefining both the genres, along with lyrical content that explored the deepest depths of pain and suffering.

How's this for synergy? Nine Inch Nails took the stage in Tokyo and fans got a little something extra from Trent Reznor's other band as his wife Mariqueen Maandig joined him onstage for a pair of How to Destroy Angels covers.

The second volume of 'Punk Goes '90s' will be released April 1, and it features modern artists covering classic '90s tracks. Prior to the disc's release, fans can check out the lyric video for Asking Alexandria's version of the Nine Inch Nails classic 'Closer' (watch above).
