262 Cattle Stolen from Texas Ranch
The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association are looking for any information about 262 head of cattle stolen from a ranch in Lipscomb County. A reward totaling $11,000 has been offered to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in the case.
The reward started out at $1000 offered by Operation Cow Thief, and an additional $10,000 was added by rancher Bob Adcock. All information is promised to be kept completely confidential. You can even provide info anonymously over the phone by calling 888-830-2333.
The steers and heifers went missing back on February 18th from Bill Merydith Ranch located at 14135 County Road U in Perryton which is up near Amarillo. Most of the cattle that are missing are black. Some are red and others are mixed colors. They are between 500 and 550 pounds and are all branded with a Lazy 11 on the left shoulder.
A theft of this size is devastating to a rancher. If you have any information please consider coming forward for the sake of the animals.
