The alert was issued for a mother and child who police believe have been abducted from their home in Corpus Christi, Texas. Photos of both Mother Jezabel Zamora, and her 1-year-old daughter Zaylee Zamora, can be seen by clicking the Texas DPS button below.

Mother and Child Allegedly Abducted in Corpus Christi Area

7:00 P.M. Wednesday - The Amber Alert for Zaylee Zamora remains active this evening according to Texas DPS. Mother and Daughter were last seen near the 6800 block of Windy Creek Drive in Corpus Christi on Tuesday afternoon. A statement from police says that they believe Zaylee and Jezabel were victims of a home abduction. They say the suspect in the abduction is believed to be former boyfriend Kristian Garcia. DFW.CBS Local reports that Garcia, 24, is wanted on warrants for both murder and aggravated robbery.

Active Clear Alert Issued for Jezabel Zamora


An Active Clear alert, for those who are not familiar, is an alert that means the individual is thought to be in imminent danger or who is believed to have disappeared involuntarily. Or, kidnapped.

The Suspect

Kristian Garcia is described by Texas DPS as 5 foot 7 and 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes with visible tats on both forearms. There is a scar on his face. He is thought to be traveling in a 2007 Cadilac Escalade with Texas plates 4SJKC.
