In a recent interview with Tejano Nation, lead singer Jordan Rodriguez told Romeo that "Te Traigo En La Mente" is one of the band's most personal and emotional recordings to date.

Some of Asalto's biggest musical influences include Siggno, Intocable, Solido, La Firma, and Los Palominos. If you listen closely, you can definitely hear those influences woven throughout the song.

"Te Traigo En La Mente" is the follow-up to their previous radio single, "Gracias a Ti." In Victoria, "Gracias a Ti" became a massive hit and helped introduce even more fans to the band's signature sound.
