Bear Takes Stolen Car for a Joyride [VIDEO]
It’s bad enough that bears have been known to attack random hikers. Now the animals seem to have graduated to grand theft auto.
According to MSNBC, a bear gained entrance to a parked Toyota Prius in Lake Tahoe, California. Once inside the car, the animal destroyed the interior, then rolled down a steep 25-foot driveway after accidentally putting the car into neutral.
The car rolled across the street, jumped a rock wall, then came to a stop after hitting a neighbor’s porch. Somehow, the bear managed to free itself from the car and escape back into the woods. The scare, presumably, has driven him back to petty theft of picnic baskets and honeycombs.
