Bo Corona Has Heartfelt Interview With Juan P Moreno
Yesterday, our very own Bo Corona interviewed the legendary bajo sexto player, Juan P. Moreno, during his show. In the interview, Juan P. Moreno opened up about his recent medical issues.
Juan P. Moreno stepped away from music in 2024 due to illness.
In 2024, he made an announcement that he would be stepping away from music. We later learned that he was fighting chronic pancreatic disease and tumors. At one point, Juan P. Moreno lost a total of 57 pounds.
He also revealed that he had a total of three tumors, two on his pancreas and another on his heart. None of his tumors were cancerous. He reflected and thanked all those who prayed for him and has come back to the music scene stronger than ever.
'Si Me Dices Que Si' is Juan P. Moreno's latest hit post-illness.
Since recovering, Juan P Moreno returned to music with a No. 1 hit on Rudy Trevino's Tejano Gold Countdown with "Si Me Dices Que Si." His latest single, "Sabes Bien," is starting to climb the charts as well.
What I love most about the new music from Juan P. is that it brings back the style of the old-school Chamacos, and it's awesome!
Juan P. Moreno rose to popularity with Jaime Y Los Chamacos.
Jaime, Juan P., Chato, and Manuel are monster musicians. This arrangement of songs will always be elite.
