Bo Corona Interviews Little Joe “Victoria Has Really Cool People”

On Thursday show, Bo Corona had a chance to speak with the legendary Little Joe. As many of you know, Little Joe has an incredible history and story in Victoria, Texas. His first performance in Victoria was over 68 years ago in 1957 and the Gazebo in Downtown Victoria. He also had many shows at what he considered his home in Victoria, The Club Westerner.

Is Little Joe touring again?

During the interview Little Joe, says that "Victoria has a lot of really cool people!"  He also give us details for upcoming music and shows. Little Joe is currently starting to tour bigger venues, which is something he has been doing for the last three years. He has been playing Theaters and concert halls and recently a big outdoor Cinco de Mayo celebration here in Victoria.

New music coming soon from Little Joe.

During the interview, Little Jo spoke passionately about an innovative new project he’s putting together. That new album will also include a song that is dedicated to his wife, who passed away in October of 2024!

 

“This project that I’m working on, there’s something like I’ve never heard anybody do, and it’s something that I have not done, especially in this market. So, yeah, I’m really excited about it, and I’m putting it together. It’s going to take more work than I anticipated.”

Little Joe's next show is on July 18th in Texas City alongside Ricardo Castillon Y La Diferenzia. Little Joe will be coming back to Victoria later this year.
