Latin Grammy winner Bobby Pulido announces his farewell tour and retirement after a 30-year career and his ambition to run for public office in 2026 during a press conference with his family in the Rio Grande Valley. Just comes just a couple of weeks after Elida just announced her farewell tour. However, Elida, did not mention the word 'retire' and just said farewell.

This news comes just over a month after his last performance in Victoria at Tejas Fest! So the question is, did we just see the final performance of Bobby in Victoria? Who knew that a random song callled "Desvelado"would be the start of one of the most iconic Tejano stars that we have ever had.

ABOUT TEJAS FEST:

The two-day festival also included 17 food vendors; a vendor market hosted by Mother Cluckers Downtown with more than 50 vendors; a car show hosted by Hot Rod Tour of Texas, which featured 62 vehicles; armadillo races; lucha libre; inflatables; a cornhole tournament that drew 23 teams; a petting zoo; a tamale eating contest; a margarita contest; and performances by VISD’s Ballet Folklorico, magician John O’Bryant and Mariachi Nuevo Victoria. So much great entertainment over the weekend.

Tejas Fest  was a smashing success! Huge crowds on both Friday night and Saturday! Friday night's main stage lineup featured Tejano and Norteno Music with  Lizz Garza Y Fantazzia, Ram Herrera, Las Fenix and the iconic Bobby Pulido!

Saturday night featured Texas Country and country with Jarrod Birmingham, Chris Cagle and Texas Country favorite, The Josh Abbott Band.  Check out some cool moments below. We can't wait for next years event!

A big thank you to Leather Creations by Renee Wilke LLC  for partnering with us to create a stunning custom leather strap for Bobby Pulido!, Chris Cagle, and Josh Abbott!  Your craftsmanship and attention to detail truly made this gift one-of-a-kind. We’re proud to work with such a talented local artisan to bring something so special to this event. Thank you, Renee
