The Conjunto Cats are a family act. The Campos family is behind the young guns of Conjunto music. And on February 11, a GoFundMe page was created stating that Art and Linda Campos had a house fire due to an electrical malfunction. Thanks to God, nobody was hurt.  At this time, their home is not livable, and they will have to pay out of pocket for many expenses until their home gets repaired.
The Conjunto Cats and the Campos family have consistently shown up for others by supporting benefits, fundraisers, and community causes whenever called upon, as reported by Tejano Nation. Now, the same community they’ve uplifted is stepping forward to help them in their time of need.

A benefit concert will be held for the Conjunto Cats.

The benefit will take place on Sunday, March 1 in San Antonio at the VFW post 9186.  Admission to the event will be a $20 donation to the Campos family, and attendees are welcometo donate more if able. The benefit features an incredible musical lineup.

A stacked Conjunto and Tejano lineup, so far.

Many big-time Conjunto groups are scheduled to perform with special appearances by some of the biggest names in Tejano. Scheduled to perform are Santiago Garza Y La Naturaleza, Lazaro Perez, Conjunto Romo, Javier Soliz Y Los Unikos, and more. There will also be special appearances by David Farias, David Lee Garza, Chente Barrera, and Raulito Navaria.

If you are able to, make plans to attend or if you can't, make a donation by visiting their GoFundMe page.

The Conjunto Cats performed in Victoria last year.
