Alicia Villarreal and Michael Salgado Join Forces for Epic San Antonio Show
In an event that is being coined as San Antonio's official Cinco de Mayo celebration, Tejano and Latin powerhouses will combine for a one-of-a-kind show. Michael Salgado and Alicia Villarreal will join forces and perform at Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio on Tuesday, May 5.

Alicia Villareal rose to fame with Grupo Limite.
In 1994, an unknown group from Monterrey, Mexico, started to make noise on the Tejano music charts. Their new style of Norteno cumbia was immediately accepted by Tejano radio.
The group released "Por Puro Amor" in 1995 and sold over a million copies, bringing us the iconic hit "Te Aprovechas." She became known for being the cute girl with braces. She currently has a very successful solo career, and we are so excited to see her perform with Michael Salgado.

Michael Salgado made a stop in Victoria during his 30th Anniversary tour.
Last year, we were fortunate enough to have Michael Salgado stop in Victoria for his 30th anniversary tour during Tejas Fest. He also performed at the Memorial Weekend Bash. We had him twice last year. He has been coming to Victoria for a long time. I remember some of his early shows at Roberto's Cocktails.
