Imagine finding a couple of bags on the side of the road, you decide to be a good samaritan and pick up the bags to discard with your trash at home.  When you arrive at home, you find out you just brought home a million dollars that you found on the side of the road.

This is exactly what happened to David and Emily Schantz from Virginia over the weekend.  Emily Schantz told WTVR "Inside of the bag, there were plastic baggies, and they were addressed with something that said ‘cash vault,' They contacted the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office, when the deputies took inventory of the bag, they determined there is money in the bag totaling almost 1 MILLION DOLLARS!   What would you have done?

Here is the story posted by WTVR-TV in Richmond.

I hope the recipients of the money, reward this family for doing the right thing .

While I have never found1 million dollars, I have had luck finding money on two occasions that I can remember.  When I was in my teens, I found $22 in the Kroger parking lot, here in Victoria, yeah that shows my age . I have also found $5 on the sidewalk before 😊.

Now I do have decent luck in playing scratch-offs, just yesterday, I picked up a $10 $200 Million Cash Explosion Lottery ticket at the Windmill off of 236, and won $100.00, check it out. Don't mind the $50,000 scratch on #23, sometimes numbers blur together on lottery tickets, at least for me LOL!
