This comes just two weeks after Freddie signed Mike Gonzalez and the Iconiczz. This is the latest chapter in the historic career of DLG, which spans over four decades.

It all started in the late 1960s.

David Lee Garza started his music career in the late 60s. They were a local band that performed for private parties in Poteet and the surrounding area. The name of the group at the time was "David Lee Garza y Su Conjunto,” as reported by Tejano Nation. In 1978, they made a change that made waves in the Tejano music industry. A saxophone and electric guitar were added to their lineup, and their first album was recorded. The rest is history.

David Lee Garza created the iconic accordion sound for the group and and has had a hand in creating some of the biggest Tejano voices in the industry.
