Free Smoke Alarms Available from City of Victoria

Thanks to a grant received by the city, the Victoria Fire Department is offering free smoke alarms to residents who need them.

According to a press release, people who need them can call the Victoria Fire marshall's Office at 361-485-3460 and schedule a time have it installed. See that? They'll even install it for you. Cool!

Official hope the program can help save lives in the event of a fire. There have been a number of fires in the area reported lately.
