Last year, I had the pleasure of visiting with Gary Hobbs while he was recording this album at Freddie Records in the iconic Red Room Studio. He has fond memories of Victoria and brought up specifically performing at the Riverside and Roberto's Cocktails.

Gary's has been in the Tejano music industry for 43 years and has a rich history in Victoria. Back in the 80s and the 90s, Gary Hobbs and the Hot Sauce Band had many shows in Victoria, including shows at Roberto's Cocktails and the West Key Lounge.
