Legendary Tejano Artist Gary Hobbs Announces El Campo Concert

Gary Hobbs' last performance in the Crossroads was in 2025.

Gary Hobbs is one Tejano artist who doesn't come to our area that often. His last two performances in Victoria were back in June of 2024 at Breezy's and at the Memorial Weekend Bash in 2025.

Gary Hobbs has been coming to Victoria for a long time.

Gary's has been in the Tejano music industry for 43 years and has a rich history in Victoria. Back in the 80s and the 90s, Gary Hobbs and the Hot Sauce Band had many shows in Victoria, including shows at Roberto's Cocktails and the West Key Lounge.

Gary Hobbs started in Tejano music when major companies actually endorsed Tejano artists.

In the above TikTok, you see Gary posing with a Coke bottle. Back then, major companies like Coca-Cola, Ford, and Bud Light used to endorse Tejano artists. Two prime examples are Selena and Emilio.
