‘Game of Thrones’ Season 2 Teaser Promises Terror [VIDEO]

Geeks, rejoice! The first teaser for the second season of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ has arrived. Winter is coming…in Spring of 2012.

Even though it is only September, HBO has already released a fiery teaser for the second season. The whispering voice and dramatic music promise a follow up that will be dark and full of terror. Check it out after the jump.

It’s not often that a television series or movie based on a fantasy novel is adapted so well that it is beloved by both critics and fans of the original. However, ‘Game of Thrones,’ based on George R. R. Martin’s best selling series ‘A Song of Ice and Fire,’ did just that.

Following Peter Dinklage’s Emmy win for his role as fan favorite rouge Tyrion Lannister, buzz for season two is reaching a fever pitch. It’s gonna be a long winter. Check out the ‘Game of Thrones’ season two teaser to tide you over until next spring.
