When Jimmy Gonzalez Y Grupo Mazz Performed for Go Tejano Day in 2005
As we approach Rodeo Houston, this is always a great time to bring back some of the epic shows for Go Tejano Day at Rodeo Houston. Back in 2005, the featured entertainment on the Rodeo Houston mainstage was Jimmy Gonzalez Y Grupo Mazz.
Jimmy G has performed on the Rodeo Houston stage twice.
This was the second time that Jimmy Gonzalez performed on the Rodeo Houston stage. He also performed there in 1991 alongside Joe Lopez during the golden days of Grupo Mazz.
This information is confirmed by the Rodeo Houston website. However, I cannot find any footage of Mazz performing at RH, so if you have some or know where to find it, please message us inside our app.

While I was looking for this footage, I found some awesome footage of Jay Perez performing at Rodeo Houston in 2006. Jay also performed at RH back in 1999 as part of the David Lee Garza reunion as well.
Was the DLG reunion show the Go Tejano Day show of all time?
Back in 1996, Go Tejano Day had one of the best GTD performances featuring Oscar DeLaRosa Y La Mafia and Ricardo Castillon Y La Diferenzia at the Houston Astrodome. I was at this show, and the energy was incredible. However, the most iconic show was the DLG Reunion show in 1999.
