Grupo Control to Celebrate 25 Years With 25th Anniversary Album

In 1999, a new group emerged and they had a fun cumbia vibe. Who were they? Grupo Control. The rest is history. Grupo Control is celebrating the   25th anniversary of their debut album, Cumbias Sin Control. To mark the occasion, “Los Reyes de la Cumbia” are working on a special album featuring both new music and fresh versions of their classic hits.

“We’re cooking up something very special for you!” the band shared on social media. “We’re working on an album to mark the 25th anniversary of the release of our debut album, Cumbias Sin Control. This project will include both new music and some of our classic songs.”

Grupo Control's new project will share rare photos and videos from their career. “Each month this year, we will be posting unreleased photos and videos that capture the essence of our experiences throughout the years,” they said. “Get ready for a lot of surprises!”

With a mix of new music and nostalgic throwbacks, Grupo Control’s 25th-anniversary project promises to be a treat for fans old and new. Stay tuned for more updates as “Los Reyes de la Cumbia” gear up for a big year in 2025!
