Houston Man Dodges Death In Horrific Road Rage Attack

In a brutal road rage incident on Houston's southside, a young man's routine drive turned into a horrific life-threatening ordeal.

Houston police reported that the victim's vehicle, now riddled with bullet holes, showed the intensity of the road rage attack. 

CHILLING FOOTAGE OF THE VIOLENT INCIDENT

Video footage from the scene captured the aftermath of the chilling encounter, showing the damaged windshield with seven gunshots pierced right through it. Miraculously, the victim struck in the arm during the onslaught, is expected to recover.

SUSPECT SERVED INSTANT JUSTICE

A METRO police officer was able to swiftly track the potential suspect. The alleged assailant, behind the wheel of a black Mercedes, faced instant justice after crashing his car at Bellfort and SH-288.

Investigators meticulously combed the scene, uncovering rifle casings that emphasized the severity of the incident. The suspect, apprehended with the weapon in his possession, now awaits charges. As of now, details about the suspect, including his name and the specific charges he will face, remain undisclosed.

PRIORITIZE SAFETY OVER CONFRONTATION

Lt Jose Salazar of the Houston Police Department delivered a crucial message in the wake of this alarming event. "Thank God he's going to be OK, but it started over road rage. So please, just disregard anybody this day and time who starts any type of road rage," urged Lt. Salazar, emphasizing the dangers of escalating tensions on the road.
