VISD Now Empowering Students To Choose The Schools They Attend

Our Victoria Independant School District is empowering students and families with the opportunity to choose the school students attend in order to give them CHOICES in their own education depending on their needs and the availablity of space. 

The program, CHOICE, is available for registration for a very short time

So, if choosing the elementary and middle school campuses you believe best fits your students needs, this is an article you want to read now. 

The Victoria Independent School District (VISD) is excited to announce the official launch of the CHOICE application for the 2024-25 school year.

The application window will open on November 7 at 8 a.m., offering parents and guardians in the community an opportunity to explore the diverse Choice Schools within VISD.

In summary, depending on the educational and needs of your child and family, you may now apply for enrollment at elementary and middle schools that are outside of your normal district. 

VISD has offered this press release to help parents and guardians to help better understand what the participating campuses offer VISD students.

The CHOICE application window will remain open until December 15 at 5 p.m., giving families ample time to consider their options and make informed decisions about their child's education.

To provide parents and guardians with a deeper insight into the Choice Programs and campuses, we invite you to attend the Third Annual CHOICE Expo:

At the CHOICE Expo, you will have the opportunity to meet with school representatives, learn about the unique programs each campus offers, and get answers to any questions you may have. We believe that providing families with this valuable information will help them make informed decisions that best suit their child's educational needs.
