Another body was discovered in Austin's Lady Bird Lake. 5 bodies were recovered from the lake in 2023, and another 4 were found in 2022, making this the 10th in the past few years. Some speculate there could be a serial killer in the Austin area, but police still haven't found any evidence to back up those claims.

Ford Sanders from KVUE posted a video on his TikTok page on February 5th after the body's discovery. He briefly mentions being approached by some people looking for their missing friend while he was there reporting.

Check out the video below:

Do you think there is a serial killer around Lady Bird Lake? I don't think it's completely farfetched to at least consider it as a possibility. I like to think that the Austin Police Department would be transparent about a possible serial killer if they truly had any information that led them to that conclusion.

Still, it's pretty crazy that that many people have been found in the lake. I used to spend a lot of time at Lady Bird Lake when I lived in Austin back in college, and every time they find another body in the lake, it creeps me out.

What do you think about it? I'd love to hear from you, especially if you live in the Austin area. Please leave me a comment below this article wherever you come across it, or feel free to reach out to me via email at Chrissy.Covington@townsquaremedia.com
