Man Dodges 3 Cops in Houston One Officer Faceplants Hard

A man was caught on camera running from three police officers in front of a courthouse in Houston, Texas. One of the officers chasing the man took a really gnarly spill off of the curb onto the asphalt when he lunged to try and apprehend the running man.

As the video opens, we can see a man jogging down the road while an officer runs behind him. The officer is catching up to the man rather quickly. It looks as if he will catch the man, but then he trips off the curb and takes a bad tumble.

Suspect flees 3 officers by Houston courthouse cop takes fall

The officer was able to get up after the fall, though it was clear the moment had cost valuable seconds. The suspect, seizing the opportunity, continued to run away, leaving the officers to regroup.
