TikTok Video Helps A Texas Father Find His Son’s Killer

A father desperate for answers resorts to TikTok to help find the person who senselessly murdered his son after a concert in Forth Worth, Texas.

A SON SHOT DEAD INSIDE HIS TRUCK

While leaving a concert, Luis Carlos Laguna Jr., known as Carlos, and his friends got into an argument with another group of people. The altercation soon escalated, and Carlos was brutally shot dead in his truck.

REACHING OUT TO TIKTOK VIEWERS FOR ANSWERS

Luis Laguna Sr., grieving the horrible loss of his beloved son soon took to TikTok to help locate his son's killer. Luis begged anyone with information to come forward. However, for months, no witnesses would identify the shooter.

"The weeks went by. Weeks turned into months, and then still nothing," Luis said.

The videos posted by Luis began to go viral. News sources began picking up the story and even viral TikTok users jumped on the case and began helping share the story told by a desperate and grieving father who was doing everything in his power to solve his son's horrific murder.

 "I felt that was the only way I could do justice for him because there was nothing I could do to protect him."

THE CALL HE'S BEEN WAITING FOR

Months went by and no substantial tips or evidence were publicised until finally, Luis got a call. 

"They found the guy that shot Carlitos and made the arrest," he said on TikTok.

A detective from Fort Worth informed Luis that they had arrested 20-year-old Martin Ramirez-Lopez. They shared little details but did inform Luis that his TikTok videos helped play a part in the case.
