Texas Mother Finds Her 2 Teenage Sons Dead in Her Backyard

A Texas mother made the most devastating discovery of her life, Thursday morning.

A mother of two boys walked into a scene that will likely be etched into her memory for the rest of her life. Around 5:30 am in Pleasanton, Texas a 911 call was made by a mother who had just discovered her two sons in her backyard.

The woman found her 14 and 17 year old sons in a backyard shed, on the ground and bloody. The boys were unresponsive and injured.

When officers and emergency services arrived they tried to revive the boys, however, they were ultimately unable to and the boys were pronounced dead. Investigators began to question neighbors, looking for any type of surveillance video or evidence to help figure out what happened to these two boys.

Neighbor Provides Vital Information

One neighbor by the name of James was approached by police looking for anything he may have that could contribute to their case. James told police that he had heard loud sounds overnight and when looking through his security footage he realized they were the sound of shotguns.

“I just feel bad for the mom and dad,” James said. “I’ve seen the kids around all the time.”

Two Suspects Arrested After Evidence Arises

Police have detained two juvenile suspects after recovering the murder weapon and Police believe this murder may have started as a robbery attempt.
