FREE MEAL DISTRIBUTION

VISD is feeding all children all summer long. VISD is offering free breakfast and lunch drive-thru meal pickup for anyone under 18, regardless of whether they are a student within the district.

On Monday, children will receive meals for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The Thursday distribution will cover Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. 

Parents/guardians can sign up for the Rural Summer Feeding program onsite or by calling the Child Nutrition Office at 361-788-9235. The student(s) do not have to attend a VISD school; however, proof of student(s) age is required or the child must be with you during pick up. Valid forms are student ID or birth certificate, or current report card. 

Each family will receive a "dashboard placard" for faster meal pickup in future distributions.

DINE IN BREAKFAST AND LUNCH

Children 18 and under can stop by any of the following sites to dine in and eat breakfast and lunch Monday through Thursday at school sites and Monday-Friday at community partner sites.

ROWLAND ELEMENTARY

• Dates Available: Starting May 28
• Breakfast Time: 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.  
• Lunch Times: 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.

CRAIN ELEMENTARY

• Dates Available: Starting May 30
• Breakfast Time: 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.  
• Lunch Times: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

O'CONNOR ELEMENTARY

• Dates Available: Starting May 30

STEM MIDDLE

• Dates Available: Starting May 30
• Breakfast Time: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

HOWELL MIDDLE

• Breakfast Time: 7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.

VICTORIA EAST HIGH SCHOOL
