WELCOME TO THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS

This property was actually a dusty dirt airstrip in the '70s. The property was abandoned for several years according to officials but now this is the first airfield to open in Texas since 2008. Lieutenant General Claire Chennault, who was a World War II leader of the famous, flying tigers in China, is what the airfield is named after.

Officials have quoted that it was stated that the owners of the aviation Academy wanted to create a place for Chinese and American pilots to thrive noting the fact that this particular Academy is also a Chinese name from its descendent. Well, now here in Texas we will fly high with the new Chennault Aviation Academy.
