TSA Has One Funny Warning for Buc-ee’s Travelers
Buc-ee's has become quite the star this World Cup! So, it was only a matter of time
First, World Cup visitors discovered Buc-ee's. Then they started loading up on Beaver Nuggets, beef jerky and Texas barbecue before heading home. Now, the Transportation Security Administration has stepped in with something I never thought we'd need: an official Buc-ee's travel guide.
Apparently, enough travelers are making one last stop at the Texas icon before catching their flights that the TSA decided it was time to clear up exactly what can- and can't- go in a suitcase.
TSA Wants Buc-ee's Shoppers to Pack the Right Way
If you're planning one final Buc-ee's run before heading to the airport, the TSA says you're probably in luck.
According to the agency's playful travel guide, favorites like Beaver Nuggets, beef jerky, brisket sandwiches and pulled pork sandwiches are all fair game to bring home. Whether you're stuffing your carry-on with snacks or checking a bag full of Texas treats, most Buc-ee's favorites can make the trip.
The TSA even joked that travelers should "snack responsibly," leaning into the fact that Buc-ee's has become an unofficial tourist attraction during the World Cup.

There's One Buc-ee's Souvenir the TSA Drew the Line On
Then came the part that had me laughing.
Alongside the list of approved Buc-ee's goodies, the TSA included one item with a giant red "X."
An actual beaver!

Yes, the agency felt the need to remind travelers that while Beaver Nuggets are perfectly acceptable, taking home Buc-ee's furry mascot in real life is... not! Though, where they would find a beaver in Texas, I'm not sure.
I can't decide what's funnier- that someone at TSA came up with the joke, or that enough people are visiting Buc-ee's right now for the agency to create an entire travel guide in the first place.
