Little Joe Y La Familia Set To Return to Victoria in October

The Club Westerner continues to celebrate 99 years with live music events. Coming soon is the legendary King of the Brown Sound, Little Joe Y La Familia. He will return to the Club Westerner stage on Friday, October 30. Tickets will go on sale soon. Keep it tuned to KLUB Tejano 106.9 for more details.

If you grew up in Victoria, chances are you remember Little Joe and Ruben Ramos playing at the Club Westerner. In fact, Little Joe had a close personal relationship with Mr. Villafranca.

The Club Westerner is a part of our childhood in Victoria.

From an early age, I associated Mr. Villafranca and his voice with the Club Westerner, and I still do to this day. In my opinion, he helped build the dancehall culture in Victoria with dances every single weekend at the Club Westerner, catering to all genres.

The Club Westerner is celebrating 99 years all year long.

Back in February, Texas Country icon Roger Creager packed the dance floor at the Club Westerner. It was so great to see that hardwood dance floor filled with couples. In July, they brought the Tejano legend Ruben Ramos and the Mexican Revolution, and now, John Wayne Schulz will be performing later this month.

Congratulations to the Club Westerner for having one of the last remaining Texas dancehalls, and a huge shoutout to the Villafranca family for the incredible upkeep. It is indeed one of the nicest Texas dancehalls in Texas.
