Loca Pasion, a Tribute to La Mafia, has recently celebrated its first anniversary, and they aren't going anywhere. They continue to electrify crowds and already have some big-time upcoming shows, including their first-ever show in Beeville, Texas.

Loca Pasion, a Tribute to La Mafia, will perform for a Mother's Day Dance at the Texas Grand on Saturday, May 9.

The Texas Grand is another legendary Texas dancehall!

The Texas Grand is another iconic Texas dance hall. This was the site of so many great Tejano dances back in the day. Including one dance featuring Jaime Y Los Chamacos, in which I got a speeding ticket on the way home. Other bands I have seen perform at the Grand include Intocable, Los Garcia Brothers, and Los Palominos - to name a few.

The Texas Grand Dancehall was the location of an iconic Tejano video.

In the 1990's, a Tejano superstar from Port Lavaca rose to the top of the Tejano charts! Joel Nava and the Border were also signed to Arista Records, back when the big record labels used to support Tejano music. His biggest hit was "Para Que," and the music video was recorded at the Texas Grand.
