Memorial Day of Remembrance & Honor Supports Local Vets
There are a lot of events scheduled for Monday, May 27th to honor those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our great nation, but there's one that is special to us here at the radio station because it helps support the Victoria County Veterans Council.
It's The Hideaway's Memorial Day of Remembrance & Honor. It happens on Memorial Day beginning at 12:00 noon and it features a ton of local musicians donating their talents to the cause including Jerry James, Southern Drive, The Texas 361 Band, Stephanie Ross, Delphine's Dream, Joe Walmsley, Wild Bill, Johnny Barefield, Fast Freddie Rosa, Johnny Beard, and Rodney Anderson.
There will be chicken and sausage plates served with all the trimmings including rice and beans for just $9, also available to go. Vets eat free with military ID.
BBQ, Karaoke, raffles, games, live music and more, and it all happens at The Hideaway at 1807 Stolz St. in Victoria.
It's a fun, full day to help a great cause on a special day. For more info or to donate or participate, contact Rodney Anderson at 361-218-6384 or 361-575-9422
