How Mike Gonzalez Celebrates His Father’s Musical Influence

Mike Gonzalez and the Iconiczz are one of the hottest names in the industry and continues to evolve. The next step: Recording with the same label that his dad did, Freddie Records.

Mike Gonzalez has a connection with the City of Victoria. This was the location of his fathers final concert ever in June of 2018 just days before Jimmy passed away. Mike and the Iconiczz already have some incredible moments in Victoria, see below.

Recently, Mike and the Iconiczz performed for our KLUB Tejano VIP's for an up close and personal show alongside the 181 Boyz in May! It was great to see Isaac back as the lead singer.

Jimmy's music lives on.

Currently, Jimmy's son, Mike, is keeping his dad's music alive with his group, Mike and the Iconiczz. At the Memorial Weekend Bash in 2024, Mike Gonzalez gets on the mic during Friday night's performance and says, 'Tonight's performance is an emotional one, my father played his last-ever show here in Victoria, Texas" They finish their set, and the crowd immediately starts shouting "otra!"

That is when many got chills, as the band started "Que Me Lleven Canciones." The moment was incredible and we were able to capture the following video. Jimmy Gonzalez's music will live on forever!
