Fine. It will be terrifying. But fun too. I mean, what's the worst that can happen?

That's right, just three hours away from Victoria Texas in Kingsland sits the scariest cafe in the great state of Texas. This cafe is actually the house where the original Texas Chain Massacre movie was filmed and you can tour it just for fun. You can even screen the famous 1974 horror movie while you're there, just to make your stay more comfortable.

The Victorian-style home was originally located in Round Rock, but moved to Kingsland in 1998 in six different pieces and now serves as a B&B and restaurant of sorts. You can dine on hamburgers served with a knife stuck int he middle of it and sip on Leatherface lemonade at the adjacent Grand Central Cafe and Club Car Bar restaurant as well as stay at the Antlers Inn Hotel next door.

Turns out the Texas Chainsaw Massacre ( and its subsequent remakes), banned for its cinematic horror scenes in several countries, was not based exactly on actual events. It turns out instead that the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Psycho, and Silence of the Lambs were more loosely based on Wisconsin serial killer Ed Gein, which all things considered still doesn't make staying overnight in Kingsland, or the movies any less terrifying.
