Port Arthur Residents Have A Clever Way of Protesting Potholes
Potholes. They're a problem from coast to coast, and the bane of many a driver's existence. They can slow down your commute and can damage your vehicle. Sometimes it can take months and even years before a city has the budget or the manpower to solve the problem. In the city of Port Arthur, residents have gotten so fed up with it, they've taken to a unique form of protest...planting trees in the deeper potholes.
Genius I say!
According to a report from TV station KFDM, some neighbors say the move is a protest of the situation, while others say the trees alert drives of the holes so they can avoid them.
Either way, I imagine city officials will get the message quickly.
