Possible Sleet for the Crossroads This weekend with Next Arctic Front
When we hear the word snow in Victoria and the Crossroads, we get pretty excited. However, most of the time, it never happens. Our next chance is this weekend. Early weather reports show that Saturday and Sunday will have some extremely cold temperatures.
Another arctic front will take over the area on Friday evening and will plummet temperatures over the weekend. Not only will the temps drop, but there will be moisture in the upper atmosphere while the temp in below freezing. This might be the perfect recipe for sleet and a chance of snow.
According to the extended forecast at weather.com, here are the forecast temperatures for the weekend, as of 1/1/26. Keep in mind that the forecast number will change a few times before this weekend.
- Friday: 75/52 20% of showers
- Saturday 57/23 60% chance of rain (mixed possible late)
- Sunday 42/25 Mostly Cloudy
- Monday 49/35 Partly Cloudy
