Puro Conjunto: Los Delta Boys Are Back With 'Corazon Libertino'

Los Delta Boys are back with a new album. They have just dropped the album "Puro Conjunto 956" and the lead single "Corazon Libertino." Once again, Los Delta Boys have released an album that truly represents the 956 with a clean Conjunto sound. Representing Edcouch, Elsa, and Monte Alto, to be exact.

Even though Los Delta Boys are fairly new to the Conjunto scene, they have already made a name for themselves. When they dropped the "2 G's Medley," they got the attention of the Conjunto community.

The Delta Boys' sound is influenced by Los Dos Gilbertos.

Just give it a listen, and you will definitely hear influences of the legendary Los Dos Gilbertos with an updated sound for the next generation. Los Dos Gilbertos were from Edinburg, Texas, also in the 956. The only way to describe this Conjunto sound is puro RGV.

Jesse Perez Y Sus Compadres is another group making noise from the 956.

Another group from the Rio Grande Valley that is making noise in the industry is Jesse Perez Y Sus Compadres. They also have a true 956 style and sound. It is so awesome to see a traditional sounding Conjunto coming from such a young group.
