Ramon Ayala has a long history of performing in Victoria, Texas.

Ramon Ayala has a long history of performing in Victoria over the years. I believe his last performance in Victoria was in 2019 at the Victoria Community Center Dome. Thanks to TikTok, we have a special moment from that night.
@sa_marti7 He performed at Community Center in Victoria, TX on this day! I attended this special event with my Comadre . #♥️ #musicismylife♥️ ♬ original sound - smarti7

He also had a show in Victoria at the Dome during 2018 that took place on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018. The lineup was Lucky Joe opening the show, Jimmy Gonzalez Y Grupo Mazz, and Ramon Ayala as the closer!

This was Jimmy Gonzalez's final-ever performance before he passed away.

This was the last-ever performance by Jimmy Gonzalez before he passed away the next week in a San Antonio hospital. Ramon Ayala has been touring dance hall venues for years and is closing out his career with arena shows. He may sit when he performs, but that doesn't matter! It's still a party when you see him perform.

While you might think “watching while distracted” is a modern habit, even back in the day the TV was just… there, humming along while you did other things. These were the shows that weren’t exactly “must-see TV,” more like “might-see TV” — part of the culture, but you had to wonder: who was actually watching?
