Ruben Ramos Returns To Victoria For Fathers Day Dance

The Club Westerner is bringing an epic dance for Father's Day Weekend. Three-time Grammy Award winner, Ruben Ramos and The Mexican Revolution will perform on Saturday, June 20, for a pre-Father's Day dance, and advance tickets are available.

You can get your presale tickets for only $20 at Rent-A-Center and Furniture Hutt locations in Victoria. Ticket prices will be $25 at the door. Doors will open at 7 p.m., and Ruben Ramos will start at 9 p.m. and will do two sets with an intermission in between.

It's incredible to see Ruben Ramos performing at such a high-level at the age of 86

years old. Another legend performing at a high-level is Little Joe; he is currently 85. What do those two artists have in common? Both of them have a rich history at the Club Westerner. Maybe the Westerner is the key to their longevity.

The Club Westerner was built in 1927 and is part of so many of our memories. I mean, chances are, at least once, you have been to a wedding, Quinceañera, private event, or benefit there. My sister got married there, and it is the place where I became a fan of Tejano music after seeing Jaime Y Los Chamacos perform live in around 1995.
