Ryan Murphy Teases a ‘Scream Queens’ Revival
The Chanels might be coming back!
If you were as heartbroken as we were when Scream Queens was canceled after only two seasons, then we've got some amazing news for you: The show's creator, Ryan Murphy, announced on Instagram that a few of the main characters want to revive the series—and so far Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Billie Lourd are all on board.
He explained that if the show is rebooted, they're thinking about bringing it back as a six-part limited series or as a film. "So many people recently have been asking me about rebooting or continuing SCREAM QUEENS (RIP, taken too soon). Emma, Billie, Lea and I have mused on it, but question: should it be a six episode limited? A catch up movie? Who should I bring back? Would love your thoughts. So many questions...." he teased.
There's no word on whether Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, or Jamie Lee Curtis are interested, but if we had it our way, we'd have everyone from season one come back, including Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, and Glen Powell.
Fans, including Queen B Chanel Oberlin herself, seem to agree that the "thank u, next" singer's character should definitely be brought back from the dead.
We need this to happen.
