The San Antonio Riverwalk Lights Up for Christmas on November 28
Living in Victoria, we are located two hours away from one of the best Christmas spectacles. The San Antonio Riverwalk! This year's Christmas celebration will kick off the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 28, and will run through January 13.
The Lighted Riverwalk is ALWAYS FREE! Except for parking.
As always, this event is absolutely FREE. Well, except for the parking. The display features over 100,000 lights, which comes out to about 2,250 strands of lights. Not only will you have the lighted Riverwalk, but there are also many other events scheduled in downtown San Antonio. Click here for more information.
A totally San Antonio Experience.
If you have never been, it's an incredible experience. Especially while taking a riverboat ride. You're enjoying your boat ride, taking in the sights, and out of nowhere, Mariachi music starts playing at about the same time you smell fresh fajitas being served on the Riverwalk. An experience that will only happen in San Antonio.

You will pass under a bridge featured in an iconic movie.
During the riverboat ride, which I practically know every word of. You will pass under the bridge that was featured in a scene of "Selena." The questions is, did this actually happen or was it added for movie dramatics?
