Slew of Car Robberies This Weekend in Victoria
Have you ever had your car burglarized? I have and it's a horrible feeling, to get to your car and see your window shattered, learning everything you had inside your car of value has been stolen.
Well, that is exactly what happened to multiple people this weekend in Victoria.
Crossroads Today reports that on Saturday in the early morning hours before the first police call was received at 4:03 am, three suspects perused the Baymont Inn and Suites, located at 8107 NE Zac Lentz Pkwy breaking into the vehicle through the windows and stealing private property. It was then discovered that multiple vehicles were robbed in multiple hotel locations "on the north part of town," Crossroads Today indicated. "The pattern indicated that the burglaries were likely committed by the same offenders."
The initial investigation shows that likely between 2 am to 3:30 am on Saturday, a black vehicle, similar to a Dodge Journey entered the parking lots of the hotels. "The vehicle was occupied by four black male suspects who used a tool to break into multiple vehicles through the windows", offers Crossroads Today.
The Victoria Police Department is looking into the burglaries and asks if anyone has information to help solve these cases, please call Victoria Crime Stoppers at 361.572.4200.

Our crucial mistake was leaving our suitcases in the backseat of my car visible when we left for our last adventure before leaving San Antonio.
Our vehicle was broken into in broad daylight, in what we thought was a "secured" parking lot. Apparently according to San Antonio police, often burglars will drive through the parking lots they know do not have cameras or attendants while watching people leave their cars. In our case, we were in a large group, no one had their purses with them and we had cameras on our necks. It was a last-minute trip to shoot photos of the Alamo before we left after a long weekend in SA. We won't ever make that mistake again!
