Tejano star Stevie D took to social media this weekend to update fans on what has been going on with his music career. In a recent post to Facebook, he shared that he has had two rare strokes. What makes the strokes rare is which part of the brain they affect.

"Suffered some pretty rare strokes (2) in terms of the part of my brain that has been affected. I’m optimistic and I’m now feeling a lot better.”

Stevie D has been released from the hospital.

Stevie has just been released from the hospital and on the road to recovery and is optimistic about his future. He recently shared a post about finishing his obligations with Freddie Records and hinted at a return to music scene. He announced future plans to join forces with Eddie Perez and releasing a new Tejano/Country fusion, as reported by Tejano Nation. Our prayers are with Stevie for a full and speedy recovery.
